The Spiderman musical featuring new songs by U2's Bono and The Edge has had its Broadway opening postponed.

The production was set to open in New York for its first previews on November 14 – however, the New York Post is reporting that this will now be delayed by at least a week.

According to the paper, the production needs more time to rehearse the state of the art stunts that the show features, and there has yet to be a full run-through.

Apparently, the musical, which has a reported budget of $60m, could now not open formerly until December or even early next year.

Bono and The Edge have written the music for the production, though they have not been directly involved in the rehearsals.
