U2 have unveiled the video for their single 'Invisible' – click below to watch.

The black-and-white promo was directed by Mark Romanek, the director behind videos such as Johnny Cash's 'Hurt' and Jay Z's '99 Problems', and sees the band performing in front of a crow . U2 premiered the track, which was a charity single released as part of a new partnership between Bono's charity (RED) and Bank Of America, during last month's Super Bowl.

The track was available for free via iTunes for 24 hours, and Bank Of America agreed to donate $1 (60p) for every download of the track to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.

Last week, Bono revealed that he and his bandmates are recording their new album in a "dank basement". Speaking about sessions on the LP to BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe, he said: "Where I'm calling from, as we speak, there were mice spotted earlier. We call it the Oil Rig. Why is it that we always end up hanging out with men in overalls? You start a band when you're 17 and then you get a crew if you're lucky and they're all in overalls and then you go to the studio and there's more people in overalls. Not enough girls. Please, girls out there, start twiddling those knobs."

The frontman also spoke about the inspiration behind the group's as-yet-untitled thirteenth studio album, saying: "We went back to why we wanted to be in a band in the first place. We were listening to the Ramones and Kraftwerk – you can hear both on 'Invisible'. It opened up a whole valve for me writing, it was like a damburst of sorts."
