UNDERWORLD'S '...OFF' ON!

And, after three years away, the titles are suitably ironic...

UNDERWORLD'S '...OFF' ON!

Underworld will release new single 'TWO MONTHS OFF' on September 2, NME.COM can reveal.

The dance giants will follow the track, their first new original material since 1999's 'Beaucoup Fish', with album 'A Hundred Days Off', in the same month.

In recent weeks, vocalist Karl Hyde has described how the album was the fastest the duo have ever recorded, taking under a year to complete.

"It's been really fast," he said. "This is Rick [Smith]'s and my 22nd year together, so it's made no change in terms of the working process. There's been a fantastic atmosphere this last couple of years and we just got on with it."

Underworld make their live return in the UK at Creamfields (August 24) at the Old Liverpool Airfield on Speke Road, Liverpool.

Tickets, priced £46 are on sale now. To buy, call the NME Ticketline on 0870 1 663 663.
