Usher's wife 'believed marriage was intact'
Tameka Foster says she was surprised at divorce filing
Usher’s wife Tameka Foster has said in court papers filed in Fulton County Superior Court, Atlanta that she was surprised when her husband filed for divorce, and believed that their marriage was intact.
The stylist, who is the mother of their two boys Usher Raymond V, 18 months, and six-month-old Naviyd, says in the papers that the pair were intimate less than a week before her husband filed for divorce, reports the dailypress.com, despite media reports that the couple had been living apart for the second half of their two-year marriage.
As previously reported, Foster, 37, suffered a heart attack after going under anaesthetic to have liposuction in Brazil in February.
Usher cancelled his appearance at the Grammys to be with his wife, who was revived by heart massage less than a minute after suffering the attack.
The pair were married in August 2007.
