V Festival sells out in record time

V Festival has sold out in record tim with 130,000 tickets going in under 3 hours.

Tickets for the weekend festival went on sale today (March 3) at 9am.

The summer event will be headlined by Radiohead and Morrissey, with Razorlight set to headline the second stage .

Learning of the sell out Festival Director Bob Angus said:“As delighted as we are that the festival has sold out, we are not shocked that it has happened so quickly, it really is testament to the line up we’ve managed to secure this year. V has grown massively in the last few year’s and we’re very very proud of it.”

The festival will take place between August 19-20 at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire.
