Bands gearing up for V Festival: day two

Fans and bands are gearing up for the second day of the V Festival today (August 19).

Tonight The Killers will take to the V Stage on the Chelmsford site, with Foo Fighters headlining the Stafford site.

Other highlights set for today include Kasabian’s slot before The Killers on Chelmsford and The Kooks highlighting the Stafford site’s Channel Four Stage.

In Chelmsford, Channel Four Stage highlights set for later on include Manic Street Preachers, The Cribs and Lily Allen.

In The JJB/Puma Arena all eyes will be on the likes of and Willy Mason, while Graham Coxon, Robyn and The Rumble Strips are set to star in the Virgin Mobile Union tent.

Over on the Stafford site Editors are all set for an early afternoon slot on the V Stage, with The Coral and Babyshambles set to shine on the Channel Four Stage.

Primal Scream will headline the JJB/Puma Arena, bolstered by earlier performances from the Happy Mondays and Dizzee Rascal. Plan B and The Holloways are among Virgin Mobile Union tent highlights.
