Thirty arrests so far at V Festival Stafford
Police stop festival goers for drugs and thefts at 2007 event
Police have reported there have been 30 arrests so far at the Weston Park site of this year’s V Festival.
Since the Stafford campsites opened yesterday (August 17) 23 people have been arrested for possession of drugs, one person for intent to supply drugs and another for a public order offence.
Police officers have also handed out 97 cautions to festival goers, while five individuals have been arrested for theft, the Shropshire Star reports.
