Kanye West plays tribute to Amy Winehouse at V Festival
Kanye West played tribute to Amy Winehouse today (August 18) during his V Festival performance.

The rapper was playing the V Stage at the Chelmsford leg when he did a shout out to Winehouse, who was due to play the festival today but pulled out due to exhaustion.

West said: “I know you wanna hear this, so I'm gonna play this for you,” before his DJ played a few bars of 'Rehab'.

The rapper's DJ also played a few bars of The Verve's 'Bitter Sweet Symphony', plus Timbaland's 'The Way I Are' and The Eurythmics 'Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)'.

Members of the audience were given paper versions of his trademark slit glasses to wear during the set.

Kanye West played:

'Diamonds From Sierra Leone'
'Through The Wire'
'We Don't Care'
'Heard 'Em Say'
'The New Work Out Plan'
'Sweet Dreams'
'The Way I Are'

'Get 'Em High'
'Can't Tell Me Nothing'
'Gold Digger'
'All Falls Down'
'Slow Jamz'
'I'll Be Missing You'
