The Fratellis inspire mass singalong at V Festival

The Fratellis caused a mass singalong at their V Festival performance today (August 19).

The huge crowd sang loudly along to 'Whistle For The Choir' and 'Got Ma Nuts For From A Hippy' during their set at the event's Chelmsford leg.

Overwhelmed by the warm reaction, singer Jon Fratelli said: “You guys look fucking awesome! Did I just say awesome?”

On stage they played in between two massive red and yellow flags with their logo in red on them.

The group were also joined by a three piece brass section including a saxophonist and a trumpeter who augmented the likes of 'Henrietta' and 'Baby Fratelli'.

'Ole Black 'n' Blue Eyes' had an extended guitar solo and closer 'Chelsea Dagger' was played at double time.

The Fratellis played:

'Baby Fratelli'
'Everybody Knows You Cried Last Night'
'Flathead'
'Vince The Loveable Stoner'
'Whistle For The Choir'
'Country Boys and City Girls'
'Doginabag'
'Ole Black 'n' Blue Eyes'
'Henrietta'
'For The Girl'
'Got Ma Nuts From A Hippy'
'Chelsea Dagger'
