The Ting Tings take on Pink at Stafford leg of V Festival

Hotly tipped newcomers The Ting Tings played a busy Virgin Sessions Tent at the Stafford leg of V Festival this evening (August 19).

Though the Salford boy-girl duo were competing with the likes of Pink who was playing elsewhere on the site, they managed to pull in a respectable crowd for their set.

Making the most of the major festival stage, singer Katie White made the most of the space, striding about as she swapped between guitars, percussion and a giant bass drum, while drummer Jules De Martino provided a loud, solid backing for their energetic garage pop.

The Ting Tings played:

'Great DJ'
'Fruit Machine'
'Shut Up & Let Me Go'
'That's Not My Name'
'Keep Your Head'
