The Coral play extended set at V Festival

Stafford gets extra time thanks to Babyshambles

The Coral play extended set at V Festival

The Coral played an extended set at the Stafforshire leg of the V Festival after Babyshambles were delayed getting to the site this evening (August 19).

Pete Doherty's band got stuck in a traffic jam forcing them to move their appearence to the Virgin Mobile Union tent at 10pm tonight - see NME.COM later for a full report.

Meanwhile the Liverpool seven-piece were given 15 minutes extra on the Channel 4 Stage at Weston Park to fill in the time, and so played a host of hit singles and crowd favourites from their back catalogue, including five tracks off their new album 'Roots And Echoes'.

Of the hits they performed, the band received massive cheers when they played poppy singles 'Dreaming Of You' and 'In The Morning'.

The Coral played:

'Spanish Main'
'Goodbye'
'Simon Diamond'
'Who's Gonna Find Me'
'Jacqueline'
'She Sings The Mourning'
'Pass It On'
'Remember Me'
'Dreaming Of You'
'Don't Think You're The First'
'In The Morning'
'In The Rain'
'Calendars And Clocks'
'I Remember When'
'She's Got A Reason'
