The trio announce only European appearance of 2008

Muse will headline this year’s V Festival, which takes place between August 16 and 17 on sites in both Chelmsford and Stafford.

The trio are the first act to be confirmed for this year’s event ahead of tickets going onsale at 10am on March 7.

The appearance will be Muse's sole European festival of 2008.

More acts for the 2008 V Festival will be announced soon.

OMG! The best news ever! What a summer is gonna be; Foo Fighters at wembley, Download festival and now V festival too. After the trip to see Muse at wembley last year it's gonna take some show to better that, bring on August!
