V Festival 2008 tickets onsale from today (March 7)

Muse, Amy Winehouse, The Verve all set to play this year

Tickets for this year's V Festival are set to go on sale at 10am (GMT) today (March 7).

Muse and The Verve are headlining the the festival, set to take place in Essex and Staffordshire on August 16 and 17.

Amy Winehouse, Kings of Leon, Kaiser Chiefs, The Prodigy, The Kooks, The Zutons, Girls Aloud, Ian Brown and Stereophonics are among other notable acts set to appear on the bill.
