Muse, Stereophonics, Prodigy for V Festival Staffordshire day two
Plus Kooks, Maximo Park, Pigeon Detectives for second day of the bash
Muse are set to headline the second day of the V Festival in Staffordshire tonight (August 17), playing on the V Stage after Stereophonics, The Kooks and Maximo Park.
The band will be going head-to-head with The Prodigy, who will play a headline slot on the 4Music stage on the same site after the likes of The Pigeon Detectives, The Hoosiers, Duffy and The Hold Steady.
Michael Franti and Spearhead will kick off proceedings on the V Stage, and will be followed by The Futureheads, Alanis Morrisette and Lostprophets.
Elsewhere on the site Ian Brown is set to headline the JJB Arena tent after performances from The Pogues, Jamie T and The Twang.
Richard Hawley will head up the Virgin Mobile Union stage, while former Clash guitarist Mick Jones' band, Carbon/Silicon, will headline the Sessions Stage.
