Oasis, Killers, Lily Allen, MGMT for V Festival first day
Ting Tings, Specials, Elbow, Calvin Harris all set to play

V Festival kicks off today (August 22) in both Stafford and Chelmsford – with The Killers and Oasis set to play headline slots at the sites respectively.
In Chelmsford, Razorlight, The Specials, Lily Allen and The Script will all play on the V Stage before Brandon Flowers and co. In Stafford, Snow Patrol, James, Elbow and Biffy Clyro are among the acts playing before the Gallagher brothers.
The 4Music stage in Chelmsford will be headlined by Fatboy Slim with Pendulum, The Ting Tings, The Wombats and Dizzee Rascal among the acts playing before the DJ's set. In Stafford Keane will head up the stage, playing after The Enemy, Paolo Nutini, Katy Perry and Alesha Dixon.
Pete Doherty will headline the Virgin Media Union tent in Chelmsford, with British Sea Power heading up the tent in Stafford.
Dance duo 2manydjs will play the Chelmsford Arena stage after Calvin Harris, while over in Stafford MGMT wil head up the stage. The psych-pop pair will play after The Streets, Lady Gaga and Ladyhawke.
