V Festival weather report – four days to go

Will it be rain or shine for the festival's two sites?

V Festival weather report – four days to go
It's four days until V Festival kicks off in Stafford and Chelmsford, and NME has weather reports for both sites.

According to Metcheck, Chelmsford is set to stay largely dry for the entire weekend (August 21-22), with only the odd spot of rain threatening. Temperatures in the daytime are likely to reach a high of 25 degrees Celsius, and a low in the evenings of 17 degrees C.

Meanwhile, Stafford is also set to be dry for the majority of the weekend, although showers are predicted for Saturday afternoon and Sunday night. It is likely to rain on the Friday, so festivalgoers arriving early could be in for a muddy site. Temperatures will drop to 11 degrees C in the evening and hover around the 21 degrees C mark in the daytime.

NME will be coming live from both V Festival sites throughout the weekend. Plus keep checking back throughout the week for the latest weather updates.
