The Ivy leaguers triumph in Los Angeles
Vampire Weekend have been named Best New Indie/Alternative Live Act at the NME Awards USA in Los Angeles tonight (April 23).
The New Yorkers, noted for their Ivy League pedigree, topped the poll voted for by NME.COM's US users.

Black Kids
Santogold
MGMT
With the British NME Awards already a key event on the global music scene, this year marks the launch of the NME Awards in north America.
