Vampire Weekend are set to be interviewed about their whirlwind year, at a live interview open to the public in New York.
The band will be interviewed on January 10 as part of the New York Times Arts And Leisure Week, when journalist Ben Sisario will quiz the band on the success of their self-titled debut record, and what's next for them.
The following day, Patti Smith will take to the chair to be interviewed by Jon Pareles, who will ask the New York icon about her recent tour and her feelings about writing and recording music in present day New York City.
