Vampire Weekend to DJ for fans at 'Contra' album party

Vampire Weekend have announced that they will play a free gig and a DJ set at a launch party for their new album 'Contra' in London on January 15.

The band will be making their appearance at the Visions Video Bar on Kingsland Road in the UK capital, with Jack Savidge of Friendly Fires also set to man the decks.

Tickets gost £5 on the door before midnight (GMT) and £7 after.

Ezra Koenig and co recently made 'Contra' available to listen to in full on their page, The album is released on Monday (January 11).

They band also announced a series of new US and Canadian tour dates for March and April.
