Vampire Weekend played the final free show of their whistle stop UK tour tonight (January 15), though bemoaned the lack of the drink Horchata in London.

Playing at the Rough Trade East record shop in the capital on the second of their two days in Britain, the band joked with the crowd at the intimate gig about the availability of the rice drink that inspired the opening track of new album 'Contra'.

"It's about a drink that's very hard to find in London," frontman Ezra Koenig told the crowd as the band performed the song 'Horchata'. "That's a damn shame!"

The band played an identical set to the one they played at Somerset House's ice rink last night (January 14), though they escaped without any technical difficulties this time.

"You guys having a good year so far? Us too, I think," Koenig told the crowd. "This is a very special week for us [as our album is out] and maybe we'll see some of February because we only spend two weeks at a time in New York before coming back here!"

Vampire Weekend played:

'White Sky'
'Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa'
'California English'
'Oxford Comma'
'A Punk'

The band are currently in a chart battle on both sides of the Atlantic for the Number One spot in the UK and US album charts, with tomorrow's sales expected to be crucial.

Tune in to NME.COM at 7pm (GMT) on Sunday to see how they got on in Britain, with the US chart to follow next week.
