Labour's Ed Miliband calls on Vampire Weekend and Kings Of Leon for first speech as leader
MP uses indie bands as intro and outro music at party conference
Speaking at the organisation's annual conference for the first time since his election as leader at the weekend, the MP turned heads with his choice of music before and after his speech.
Miliband took to the stage to Vampire Weekend's 'A-Punk', before delivering a speech outlining his plans for the party.
Then, to the surprise of some, the Labour leader left the stage at the end of his address to Kings Of Leon's 'Use Somebody'.
Miliband has since suggested he did not pick the music.
