Footage of Steve Buscemi singing 'Diane Young' through a loudhailer while an Easter bonnet-wearing Vampire Weekend look on has appeared online.

The video, which you can watch by scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking 'play', was filmed at New York's Easter Bonnet festival today (April 1) and features the Boardwalk Empire actor singing the song beside the band, who try their best not to laugh.

For bassist Chris Baio, the moment was a sort of family reunion after he recently discovered that he is related to the Hollywood star. Writing on the band's official Twitter account, they revealed that the bassist had been researching his family tree and, after digging through his heritage, found out that he is a distant cousin of Steve Buscemi.

Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Vampire Weekend have delayed the release of their third studio LP 'Modern Vampires Of The City' by one week. The album was due to be released on May 7 but will now be with fans on May 14 with "unanticipated delays" cited by the New Yorkers on Facebook.

Posting a message to fans about the delay, the band wrote: "Vampire Weekend's upcoming album Modern Vampires of The City will be released on May 14, one week later than originally announced due to unanticipated delays in the production of physical copies of the record. The new date ensures that CDs and vinyl will be in stores on release day. We all worked very hard on this record and promise it will be worth the wait."

The tracklisting for 'Modern Vampires of the City' is as follows:

'Obvious Bicycle'
'Unbelievers'
'Step'
'Diane Young'
'Don't Lie'
'Hannah Hunt'
'Everlasting Arms'
'Finger Back'
'Worship You'
'Ya Hey'
'Hudson'
'Young Lion'
