Van Halen cancel US dates due to illness

Van Halen have been forced to postpone a series of US concerts while guitarist Eddie Van Halen undergoes tests for a mystery illness.

The shows affected in Dallas[b] (March 3), [B]Cincinnati (March 5), Raleigh (March 7) and Baltimore (March 9) have been rescheduled for April.

According to an official statement on Van Halen’s website reads: "he (Eddie Van Halen) is undergoing a battery of comprehensive medical tests to determine a defined diagnosis."

The rescheduled tour dates are:

Raleigh RBC Center (April 13)
Baltimore 1st Mariner Arena (15)
Cincinnati US Bank Arena (22)
Dallas American Airlines Center (24)
