Eddie Van Halen gets engaged - Tabloid Hell
Veteran rocker to wed long-time girlfriend
Eddie Van Halen has reportedly gotten engaged to his long-time girlfriend.
The Van Halen guitarist proposed to the band's publicist, Janie Liszewski, while the pair were vacationing in Hawaii.
The rock veteran, 53, dropped to one knee and popped the question in a private room at Tiffany's, reports People.
This will be Van Halen's second marriage. He was formerly married to actress Valerie Bertinelli, with whom he had a son Wolfgang. The 17-year-old played bass with Van Halen during their world tour last year. This will be Liszewski's first marriage.
The couple are expected to wed next June.
