Van Morrison to release new record
'Keep It Simple' released in March
Van Morrison has announced he is to release his first studio album in two years.
’Keep It Simple’ will be released on March 17.
All 11 songs have been specially penned for the record, which Morrison himself mused: "I felt I had something to say with these songs."
The record follows a 2CD ’Best Of’ release last year, and a host of the singer's old albums are also to be reissued throughout 2008.
The Shockwaves NME Awards 2008 are coming soon – and it’s time to have your say. Vote now by heading to NME.COM/awardsvote and you could win VIP tickets to the ceremony, which takes place in London on February 28.
