The Metros release debut single

Plus band plan alternative Valentine's Day bash

The Metros release debut single

The Metros have announced they are to release their debut single 'Education Pt. 2' in March.

The single, out on March 17, will be available as an CD, standard seven-inch single and a seven-inch picture disc.

The standard seven-inch format will feature a cover of 'Gabrielle', originally released by Shane MacGowan’s first band, The Nipple Erectors.

Meanwhile, the band have also announced plans for an alternative Valentine's Day bash, billed as a ’Night Out For A Tenner’.

The £10 entitles punters to pie, mash and liquor, entry to the band’s Amersham Arms gig in London's New Cross, a free drink and three alternative download versions of their debut single.
