The Roots have recruited several big-name guest artists to contribute to their forthcoming album.

Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump, Mos Def and Common are set to appear on the influential Philadelphia hip-hop outfit's tenth studio album 'Rising Down', which is due out later this year.

It is also rumoured that Q-Tip and Lupe Fiasco will contribute to the follow-up to 2006's 'Game Theory', reports Nahright.com.

i think the roots are class and until recently were trying to do something different for hip hop. Looks like those days have gone as they are jumping on the band wagon an throwing on that nob from that emo band like every other hip hop act in America at the moment. What happened to songs like "the seed" and "break off"?
