TV presenter Jeremy Beadle died yesterday (January 30) after a battle with pneumonia, aged 59.
As well as being well-known for presenting TV shows including ’Beadle's About' and 'You've Been Framed', Beadle promoted music festivals in the 1970s.
He organised Lancashire’s Bickershaw Festival, which in 1972 featured the likes of Hawkwind, Wishbone Ash, Donovan and The Kinks.

Beadle was later co-editor of music listings magazine Time Out London.
He went on to achieve fame as a TV presenter, and became a cult figure.
