Jimmy Jam reunites with The Time for Grammys
Band will perform with Rihanna at the event this Sunday
Super producer Jimmy Jam is planning a reunion performance with his former band The Time at the Grammys this Sunday.
Jam, who is most famous for his production collaboration work with Terry Lewis will reunite with his former high school band at the event in Los Angeles’ Staples Center.
The Time toured with Prince in the 80s, before Jam and Lewis got together to work as producers, most famously on several Janet Jackso albums.
They will collaborate with ‘Umbrella’ star Rihanna, one of several one-off collaborations scheduled for the ceremony.
Beyonce is rumoured to be performing a duet with Tina Turner at the event, while Foo Fighters will play with a contest-winning fan.
