Sia Furler steps out of internet for UK dates

Singer Sia Furler who came to prominence after posting footage on YouTube, is set to make her real life British debut.

She came prominence after celebrity blogger Perez Hilton posted a test video online causing around 7 million people to visit her website.

With her recent album ‘Some People Have Real Problems’ charting at Number 26 in the US, and earning her a Grammy nomination, she has now announced a series of UK and Ireland shows to accompany the release of single ‘The Girl You Lost’ on April 14.

She plays:

errrr i'm pretty sure Sia has played the UK before now, definitely with Zero 7, and 90% sure on her own, which i seem to remember being advertised in YOUR mag.
I thought Sia was pretty common knowledge, ever since her Colour The Small One album.

I'm with the above. I think Sia has just finished a UK tour, is pretty common knowledge. I think she could even be described as pretty mainstream after her song Breathe Me was used at the end of the final episode of Six Feet Under. Get it sorted.

Everyone's right. Sia had a solo UK top ten hit in 2000 with 'Taken For Granted' and was touted by Jo Whiley and the like. Get it sorted indeed.
