Six Nation State to release 'video album'

Six Nation State are set to release special ‘video album’.

The band, who are playing this year’s Camden Crawl festival, have announced that they will release films made by the group.

The Southampton band made short films for all the tracks on their self-titled debut album, and will be allowing fans to watch selected videos online throughout April before releasing the DVD in May.

Six Nation State have put the first preview from the release on Myspace.com/sixnationstatetheband .

The film for album track 'Taking Me Over' includes 50 fans who played zombies in the thriller, and is online now.

The group, who have just finished a tour of Europe, are set to play Camden Crawl 2008 alongside Does It Offend You Yeah?, Operator Please and Crystal Castles on April 18.

I'm so glad, they're getting some exposure in the major music press and it's good to see NME doing it! I love 6NS! Seen them loads of time in Southampton/Joiners and old fav Lennons. Great album too, go buy it!

Yes, excellent story and brilliant band. They do deserve more coverage in the major music papers and websites. I saw them play in Bristol at the weekend and their performance and the atmosphere were amazing. I think the video album is an excellent idea and I doubt many other bands have ever made a video for every song on their album?

About bloody time NME mentioned these boys. Possibly the most exciting live band in the UK at the moment.
