White Denim play London pub as fans queue around the block

White Denim played the second of four London dates last night (April 2), filling new music venue the Star Of Bethnal Green, forcing dozens of fans to queue outside.

The Texan band were one of several hotly-tipped new acts singled out at the recent US festival South By Southwest and are in the UK to launch single 'Let's Talk About It'.

White Denim played a thirty-minute set of energetic rock 'n' roll that also included the tracks 'Don't Look At It That Way', 'All You Really Have To Do' and 'Paint Silver Gold'.

The night, put on by Foals' management Scruffy Bird, also saw singer-songwriter Martina Topley-Bird play later in the evening.

White Denim play two more dates in London this week, before leaving to tour Paris and North America.

The remaining shows are as follows:

Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes (April 3)
The Barfly (4)
