New Kids On The Block announce reunion gig

New Kids On The Block have announced they will play their first show in 14 years next month in New Jersey.

The band, who last week reunited for a performance on US TV show 'The Today Show' have recorded a brand new album, which will be supported by a tour.

The band were put together in 1984 by producer Maurice Starr and went on to become a worldwide sensation.

Actor/producer Mark Wahlberg was once a member of the band, but left in the early days.

His brother Donnie, also a member of the band, went on to become a successful actor, and his film resume includes 'The Sixth Sense'.

Their reunion gig will take place at Z100's 'Zootopia' concert at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ, and will also feature performances from Disney teen queen Miley Cyrus, boy band du jour The Jonas Brothers and Simple Plan.
