De La Soul, Sage Francis to headline US hip-hop festival

Paid Dues will travel across the country

De La Soul, GZA, Blackalicious and Sage Francis are set to headline US independent hip-hop festival Paid Dues.

This year the festival will travel to a handful of American cities in June including New York, Fort Lauderdale, Denver and San Francisco.

Also on the bill are Rakim, Murs, Little Brother, Kidz In The Hall and Hieroglyphics.

The festival is designed to support underground hip-hop that is often overlooked by mainstream media.

Tickets for the festival are set to go on sale Thursday (April 17). For further information, visit Guerillaunion.com.

New York, NY Nokia Theatre (June 4)
Fort Lauderdale, FL Club Cinema (7)
Denver, CO Fillmore Auditorium (13)
Berkeley, CA Berkeley Community Theatre (14)
