Pete Wentz' fiancée deems question 'inappropriate' on TRL

Ashlee Simpson responded to questions about her rumoured pregnancy on MTV’S TRL today (April 15) saying "I just think it's an inappropriate question to ask any woman.”

The pop star who last week announced her engagement to Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz said that "Some things, you want to keep personal and I think that when people deny, it's probably because it's something they want to keep personal.”

Tabloid usmagazine.com reported yesterday that Simpson and Wentz are expecting their first child together. The story was then picked up by several other outlets, leading Wentz to deny the rumours in an email to MTV.

Simpson is in the promotional trail in preparation for the release of her new album ‘Bittersweet World’ which comes out next Tuesday (April 22).
