A Tribe Called Quest, Santogold for Rock The Bells

De La Soul, Mos Def, Pharcyde will also perform

A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul and Mos Def are among the acts confirmed for this year’s Rock The Bells festival series.

The Pharcyde, Nas, Rakim, Method Man & Redman, Raekwon & Ghostface will also perform at the series which kicks off July 19 in Chicago, IL.

It’s not just hip hop heavyweights who will take to the stage this summer, as the line-up also shows slots scheduled from Santogold, Spank Rock, Kid Sister, Jay Electronica and Mark Ronson collaborator Wale.

Last year’s series included performances by a reunited Rage Against The Machine, the Wu Tang Clan and Public Enemy.

In addition to nine North American cities, the tour will this year make four stops in Europe and one in Japan.

Miami, FL (August 2)
Philadelphia, PA (3)
Los Angeles, CA (9)
