Kanye West DJ set to release track dedicated to 'joggers'
DJ A-Trak supplies soundtrack for runners
DJ A-Trak is releasing a 45-minute opus "dedicated to joggers" via the iTunes store this week (July 1).
The track 'Running Man: Nike + Original Run' was commissioned by Nike, in order to provide an inspiring audio accompaniment for running enthusiasts.
The hip-hop turntablist turned dance DJ, who regularly tours with Kanye West, explained he is not a jogger himself - but was happy to help out those who regularly pound the streets.
"I don't really run, but I got excited by the musical challenge," A-Trak said. "I had to weave sounds together so the runner didn't get interrupted or distracted."
