Islands unveil UK and Irish tour

Canadian indie troupe skip over to the British Isles

Islands have announced a tour of the UK and Ireland.

The band, who released their second album 'Arm's Way' earlier this year, will tour the British Isles in September and October.

The jaunt starts at Belfast's Auntie Annie's Porterhouse on September 19 and ends at Nottingham's Bodega venue on October 4.

Islands were formed by The Unicorns' Nick Thorburn after the break-up of his old band.

However, he left the group in 2006 after the release of their debut album 'Return To Sea'.

Islands play:

Belfast Auntie Annie's Porterhouse (September 19)
Dublin Hub (20)
Leeds Brudenell Social Club (23)
Manchester Night And Day Cafe (24)
Glasgow Captain's Rest (28)
London Dingwalls (October 1)
Bristol Cooler (3)
Nottingham Bodega Social Club (4)
