Pete Wentz speaks out about pending birth

He's been reading books in advance of fatherhood

Pete Wentz is preparing for the pending birth of his first child by reading books and talking to his father-in-law and father.

Wentz performed with Fall Out Boy at the Victoria's Secret PINKapalooza back-to-school collection launch in Los Angeles recently, and says he’s been busy reading up about what to expect when the baby is born.

"I'm reading all the books," Wentz told OK! Magazine. "The best one I've read so far is ‘The Expectant Father’. I'm talking to my dad a lot. I'm talking to Ashlee's dad a lot. We hang out with other people who have kids. You see the world in a different way. It's exciting."

Wentz married singer Ashlee Simpson in California in May. The couple announced Simpson’s pregnancy shortly after the wedding.
