Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick has taken up being a roadie in his spare time.

According to The Sun, Carrick, also and England international, has been carrying amps around for his brother-in-law's band, The Sound.

According to the newspaper. the player said: "You can see the similarities between a band about to go on stage and a team about to walk on the pitch.

"I love going to their shows and you can get stuck in and lend a hand setting up – their music is great so that always helps."
