Fall Out Boy learn of Obama's running mate when bowling with P Diddy
Pete Wentz reveals personal connection to Joe Biden
Fall Out Boy were reportedly bowling with P. Diddy when they heard the news that Barack Obama's running mate in the US presidential election would be Joe Biden.
The band have been in Denver for the Democratic National Convention, where they performed last night (August 25) at the Rock The Vote concert with and N.E.R.D.
In addition, Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz revealed that his parents met while working for Biden. He told the Associated Press that his father said to him before he left for Denver, "`When you bump into Biden, make sure you tell him that. He'll remember.' I'm like, 'Uh, that's not really how this works.'"
Obama announced on Saturday (August 23) that Delaware Senator Biden would be the Democratic candidate for vice president.
Meanwhile, Fall Out Boy have just revealed details of their forthcoming album, 'Folie A Deux', which they plan to release on November 4, US election day, as previously reported.
