Jay Jay Pistolet set to play free gig on river Thames

Bands to reunite for canal boat gig this Sunday (Aug 31)

The River Rat Pack Tour – which has seen The Kooks, Jay Jay Pistolet and SixNationState perform from the top of canal boats between London and Oxford – will reunite for a special one-off performance on Sunday (August 31).

In June nine bands played free gigs along the waterways to Oxford in a week-long tour, and Luke Pritchard from The Kooks even joined the groups for their warm-up gig at Camden Lock.

On Sunday (August 31) some of the bands will reunite to play aboard 'The Happy Cockle' between Victoria Park and Limehouse Basin in London.

Jay Jay Pistolet, SixNationState, Josh Weller and others will perform as part of the Yours to Taste: Regent's Canal event run by British Waterways.
