Bestival creator Rob da Bank has written about how storms lashed the festival site last night (September 2) – striking fear into festival staff members' hearts.
Writing on his Bestival blog, which he is updating exclusively for NME.COM, the DJ wrote that for a while organisers feared the storm would seriously affect events at the bash, which kicks off on Friday (September 5).
However, thankfully for them the weather cleared up without damage being done. "There was a huge storm last night that raged all night, scaring any crew staying onsite in their tents," he wrote. "But then the sun came out and we're getting sunburnt again."
