Bestival have announced details of early bird tickets for next year's festival.

Tickets for the Isle Of Wight festival, set to take place on September 4-6 2009 - will go on sale for a limited time from midday on Friday (September 12).

Organiser and BBC Radio 1 DJ Rob da Bank said: "We've already had literally hundreds of requests for tickets for next year and so are delighted to be going on sale again already. Come rain or shine, but preferably shine, see you next year!"

This year's Bestival featured performances from Amy Winehouse and My Bloody Valentine.
