Six OiNK users charged for 'illegally downloading music'
Music sharing site was closed down last year
Six music fans have been charged in connection with a police enquiry into music sharing site OiNK.
OiNK closed down last year after reports that users were using it to illegally share pre-release music.
A 25-year-old man from Middlesbrough has been charged with conspiracy to defraud and bailed to appear in court later this month, according to BBC News.
Five other people have been charged with copyright infringement as part of Cleveland Police's operation Ark Royal into music industry piracy.
The charges come as a result of an Interpol-led investigation, involving music industry bodies the International Federation Of The Phonographic Industry and the British Phonographic Industry.
