'Guitar Hero' makers working on 'DJ Hero'

Another music simulation game in the pipeline

The makers of the 'Guitar Hero' computer games are working on a new title, 'DJ Hero'.

FreeStyleGames, a company owned by Activision, is currently developing the DJ simulation title, reports gaming blog Kotaku.com.

According to the blog, the game is set to be released in summer 2009. It will involve using a DJ deck-style controller with sampling buttons and a cross-fader.

'DJ Hero' is set to include a number of mash-ups, with songs by 50 Cent, Beastie Boys, Beyonce and Jimi Hendrix all in the running for inclusion, pending licensing rights being granted.
