MySpace Music suffers technical difficulties
What are described as 'critical portions' of the site go down
MySpace Music, recently launched in the USA, suffered technical difficulties yesterday (October 8), with portions of the site becoming unavailable to users.
What Digital Music News described "critical portions" of the service, including stream, playlist and download services, went down, prompting MySpace bosses to issue a message to users asking for patience.
"We are making some minor changes to this section so please bear with us until we can get it back online," the message read.
MySpace Music launched in the USA on September 24, allowing users to create playlists on their profiles and download songs.
The service has been criticised by independent record label chiefs for not signing up the back catalogues of artists on some independent labels yet.
