Host of stars donate to 20th anniversary of Rock For Kids

James Brown, Gwen Stefani, Snoop Dogg and TV On The Radio are among the acts to have donated items to the 20th annual Rock for Kids Rock & Roll Charity Auction taking place next month in Chicago.

Signed posters from Interpol, TV On The Radio, Feist, Jarvis Cocker, Diana Ross, Dolly Parton, Gogol Bordello and more will go up for auction, as will signed guitars from The Eagles, The Hives and more.

The auction will raise money for Chicago’s homeless and underprivileged children, and so far has raised over $3 million over its 20 year existence, reports Pitchfork.

A photo of The Beatles taken at their last live performance signed by photographer Jim Marshall is among the items available, as are signed singing James Brown dolls and signed jackets from Gwen Stefani.

Snoop Dogg donated one of his own personal suits while Rod Stewart donated a signed soccer ball.

Items from Arcade Fire, The Strokes and Vampire Weekend are also expected to feature in the auction which will take place on December 5.
