Prince covers act Purple Reign are first tribute band on Letterman
Band follow in footsteps of Foo Fighters and Amy Winehouse
A Prince tribute act named Purple Reign have become the first covers band to play live on the 'Late Show With David Letterman'.
The band followed in the footsteps of musicians including Foo Fighters and Amy Winehouse by appearing on the show.
The tribute band performed a version of the singer's 1984 hit 'Let's Go Crazy' on US network channel CBS last night (November 17).
