'Suge' Knight to face drug and battery charges

Rap mogul is in trouble once again

Rap impresario Marion 'Suge' Knight is being charged with battery and drug possession charges.

The Clark County district attorney's office in Nevada sent the criminal complaint to the Las Vegas Justice Court yesterday (November 17).

Police claim that they saw the former Death Row Records boss beating his girlfriend while brandishing a knife in a parking lot near the Las Vegas Strip in August, reports the Associated Press.

The woman was later treated for injuries at a nearby hospital. They also said that Knight was in possession of Ecstasy and hydrocodone when they arrested him. He was later released on $19,000 bail.

Meanwhile, Knight has filed a suit of his own against Kanye West for damages stemming from an incident in which he was shot in Miami, as previously reported.
